This is an annual program tailored to
develop students of universities and other
tertiary institutions to find and keep
fulfilling jobs after graduation. It consists of three
workshops per a semester, individual advice
sessions and an end-event/conference just
before the end of each semester.
Workshops
These are one day interactive and practical
sessions on specific areas as part of
supporting job search and career skills. The
workshops are delivered on the university
campuses and bring students in contact with
industry experts in career guidance, job
search and recruitment.
The workshops for the first semester are:
-
Explore your career options – your
course and career exploration
-
Tips on building a fulfilling career
-
Successful job search and career skills
The
workshops for the second semester would be
in the areas below:
Campus Careers Conference
These events are large scale conferences
bringing delegates in contact with industry
experts for lectures on specific areas of
careers and job search. These would be
advertised publicly closer to the event date
with details of venue, speakers and program.
The event would be free for registered
members of the Campus Career Service, but
will attract a fee for non-registered
students who would like to attend.
The headline titles for both of the
conferences are as below.
First Conference: Volunteering and
internship - means of gaining practical work
experience
Second Conference: Talents employers want -
discovering your key talent themes
One-to-one advice session
These are individual advice sessions for

with an Occupational Psychologist or Careers
Advisor on specific areas of job search and
career skills. These are pre-booked
appointments and, although free for
registered users of the campus service,

non-attendance will incur a charge.

areas::

-
Planning your career path

areas. Prior to any of the session, you may

matter (if you are a registered Campus
Career Service member).
